Git GUIs terrify me. On the command line, I know exactly what was run and how to get back to a known good state if I muck it up (or at least where to start googling for the undo!). I have no clue what some GUI is running behind the scenes when I click some theoretically innocuous button. Or at least that is how I felt when I was a beginner to git. Now I'm confident that I could fix anything a GUI screwed up but the command line is just easier and faster for me.
