I see a few Nick Bobics around. http://conferences.oreillynet.com/cs/et2002/view/e_spkr/1162 http://conferences.oreillynet.com/cs/et2002/view/e_spkr/1162 and http://www.gamasutra.com/view/authors/148/Nick_Bobic.php http://www.gamasutra.com/view/authors/148/Nick_Bobic.php seem to refer to the same person. The Ottawa reference makes me suspect that this might be NickB. No search hits for accidents and Nick Bobic though.

I don't doubt you, but why do you think that Nickb has an email address with Barnes in it? http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14482 http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14482
