Aren't you supposed to be developing your users? In other words, what does it matter what their site does? Your users are on your site are they not? This builditwithme "looks nice"; it has 129 people; what are you worried about? Get some feedback from the people on your site. Talk to them, find out what, how, why, where they are looking for and (not finding) help with their project. It makes the farthest sense, at least in my opinion, to try to answer those questions by looking at some other guys site design.
