- ommunist 11y agoIn many cases to determine its necessity you set a cookie. Seriously, can you name a mainstream news site in Britain that does not set a cookie?
- mrec 11y agoNo, but I can name lots that shouldn't. If I'm not logged in, there's no good reason for a news site to set a cookie.
- bwindels 11y agoMost uses of cookies that are not tracking are exempt from the cookie law and don't need consent: http://ec.europa.eu/ipg/basics/legal/cookies/index_en.htm#section_2 http://ec.europa.eu/ipg/basics/legal/cookies/index_en.htm#se...
