Umm.. I don't think that is true. I use VS2013 for work and it only asks for that during the first time launch and provides a "skip for now" link at the bottom.

Umm.. I don't think that is true. I use VS2013 for work and it only asks for that during the first time launch and provides a "skip for now" link at the bottom. The behavior is same even with community edition.
- btzll 11y agoYeah but if you don't sign in, it will stop working after a few days.
- WorldWideWayne 11y agoIt's 90 or 120 days and I believe that's only going to be required for the free Community Edition. Pro and Ultimate level users won't have to sign in.
