Ask HN: Is Ubuntu's website not utilizing https?

When I visited Ubuntu's website to download Ubuntu Linux, both the download mirror and the Ubuntu website does not seem to utilize TLS although the Ubuntu wiki does. I am running the latest version of Chrome on Windows 7. Is anyone else having this problem?
