May I ask why? The article was enjoyable, but I didn't really grok some of the particulars. Why is this specific footnote interesting?
- tedunangst 11y agoThe sheer predictability. As soon as I got to the part where it was stated that banks don't like keeping certificates in their own vault, I knew what was coming next. The bank ordered the certificate, somebody noticed it in the vault, and then sent it straight back. It just add to happen. But then it didn't, or at least no mention was made. Until I got all the way to end, and there it was.
