    You're right, that is weird. However, since he had operational responsibility for "community" it sounds like it was his call.

      He's the chairman of the board. A lot of things are his call. I'm just saying, that call made the CEO's job especially difficult. Keep that in mind if you're ever tempted to say "the buck stops with the Reddit CEO."
