According to an article I found, the way to disable it via about:config is to set
browser.pocket.enabled = false
A comment on the post said to restart FF to get the change working. After I did that, the icon left my FF toolbar.

- raesene5 11y agoUnfortunately what I've found is that it re-appears when you upgrade Firefox, which is annoying.
- rockdoe 11y agoYou should file a bug. That's absolutely unacceptable. (And I didn't see this happen, so I suspect it wasn't intended)
- endemic 11y agoI still see a "View Pocket List" item in the Bookmarks menu, even after disabling. Kind of annoying.
