This is called lanesplitting and it's not illegal in California or most of the non-US world.
- usaphp 11y agoI wonder why only CA allowed lane splitting, I know that it's illegal everywhere except CA.
- thrownaway2424 11y agoUntil recently, lane sharing was not specifically legal in California, and it was also not specifically illegal. Then someone decided to write it into the law, for some reason. Anyway, the reason California allows this is because most of the country's good ideas start here ;-) It's demonstrably safer for motorcyclists and it saves everyone time, so why not?
