Maybe this could be used for something like clinical quality analytics. There is an industry of data-driven optimization on dimensions like diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, populations/demographics. A big challenge with this is that the useful data is HIPAA-regulated. Something like SETI@home, but for finding better clinical care options instead of finding aliens.
