I mean, I have some sympathy, but that wasn't a question, it didn't have a definitive answer, so it clearly was in violation. Put the information up in a blog post, or anywhere else. It doesn't have to live on SO to be useful to everyone. SO is really terrified of turning into a reddit or a forum full of "What's the top ten coolest ...?" type questions.
