Nice. If you're ever flying to/from Geneva then book on a tour of CERN. It's right next to the airport and it's free. It was great, highly recommended. Although you don't get to go down to the cavern while it's in operation due to safety reasons (high levels of radiation I believe).

- sschueller 11y agoYou can sometimes still go down just not past the radiation doors. https://goo.gl/photos/QwiF4EY8XuBBp8zm9 https://goo.gl/photos/QwiF4EY8XuBBp8zm9 . - neals 11y agoThanks for this. I had no idea this was possible. Changing my holiday plans as we speak.
- jnotarstefano 11y agoIf you happen to do that before the end of November, please send me an email (it should be in my profile): I'd love to talk to you over coffee!

- jsingleton 11y agoCan't see it in there. No plans to visit again yet but if you can arrange an underground tour then I may be tempted! :)
- pi-rat 11y agoThat's awesome! Passing by Geneva in August and would have never thought about that.
