I don't get bored easily but If the company/boss doesn't show any sign of progress or doesn't explain what I'll be doing in next 6 months then it disappoints me

I don't get bored easily but If the company/boss doesn't show any sign of progress or doesn't explain what I'll be doing in next 6 months then it disappoints me. But not to the extent that I'd leave. Changing country and a desire to do a research degree were reasons for leaving 2 companies. After that I had no job and I took whatever came my way.
