- pcrh 11y agoThe continental USA hasn't been considered an empire since the 1840's, any more then the UK is considered an "English Empire". I suppose the continental USA could be invaded by Mexico or Canada, in which case one would have to see a much more considerable reversal of fortunes than that being considered in the OP.
