I'm having a hard time finding the orientation of my phone. I can see yellow artifacts but they're not coherent like on other LCDs. And when I look through polarized sunglasses there's no blocked angle. It must be using some alternative polarization even though it's a regular TFT screen. There's certainly a value in not having your phone screen dimmed by sunglasses.
