You want the state of an electric circuit modelled using linear type systems.
This sort of does away with problems of mutability, since you can change things, but only exactly once (which is what you intend for e.g. current).
- tsmarsh 11y agoI was clutching at straws, I'm an functional programmer myself and I vaguely remembered something in SICP that used objects to solve circuit problems. I'm sure objects good for something... right?
