- peregrine 17y agoHave you noticed the 5 second computer freeze every time you type or hit a keyboard button when Chrome is active? Cause I have.
- selven 17y agoI've never had anything like that. Chrome on my computer is, at worst, taking 5-10% CPU usage to maintain 10 tabs in 2 windows, and it doesn't slow anything else down. Perhaps your OS is the problem?
- sant0sk1 17y agoIf he had that problem I doubt he would have posted: > I've been able to use the chromium daily builds without any problems for about 6 months :)
- JulianMorrison 17y agoI've had a ton of tab crashes, tab freezes, slow downs, etc. But where Chrom(e|ium) shines is that you can generally just reload the tab and go. Worst case, quit and restart takes seconds.
- mattezell 17y agoMy experience has been the same. I have been using the Chromium Ubuntu PPA for about 2 months and have had no issues until this week (details: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29536 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29536 ). Although crippling to Chromium on my machine, I am sure my newly encountered issues will be resolved shortly, so I am not worried.
