Ask HN: What are some open source projects in need of contributions?
- allendoerfer 11y agoAny web-based WYSIWYG text editors. There is are millions of them and every single one is either too big and often not true wysiwyg or too buggy.
- armab 11y agoIt's good to mention at least programming languages you're familiar with. I would suggest to start with: https://github.com/trending https://github.com/trending And find some interesting, but not yet popular project. As I understand from your profile you're good with Python. Then check this: https://github.com/StackStorm/st2 https://github.com/StackStorm/st2 It's kind of "IFTTT for Ops", event driven automation platform, but also with ChatOps focus. This should be popular in future.
- fundamental 11y agoPretty much all open source projects need some work done to them. Try to find something that you find both interesting and appropriate for your own level of skill.
