In case anyone was confused and thought you had a Wildcard EV certificate for subdomains/customer-specific logins, that (still) isn't possible, what you probably meant was that you have a regular wildcard certificate for the subdomains in addition to the EV certificate for your primary domain.
- jamiesonbecker 11y agoThat's absolutely correct and thanks for clarifying my imprecise language. I actually support that EV doesn't support wildcards and don't mind buying both. Wildcards can be harder/riskier to manage in large organizations but the specificity of EV means they're just naturally going to be shared around the organization a lot less.
