I'm confused. I just posted above a search that showed lots of hotels below $220 in SF. So it's seems arguably false that SF is 300-350 min. Maybe you're limited it to high end? Or maybe searching from the UK shows different prices? Also, I've never been charged more than was shown on booking.com
