If you use frameworks where components communicate by exchanging messages then it's quite easy to start with a single app and later scale it to multiple services. With frameworks like Akka (Actors) or Vert.x the communication can be local or remote and the calling code is the same for both.
- andreasklinger 11y agoIn rails you can do similar approaches (prepare for later scaling) by encapsulating the actual fetching logic in Repository objects
