I wouldn't say it is an unpopular opinion. I can imagine most have had a similar thought at one point or the other about some technology. But what looks like constant innovation to one, is probably a long awaited feature to someone else. Don't feel like you have to catch up. You don't have to (and probably can't) follow every single innovation. Rather try to limit what you follow. Yes, you might miss out on things, but that's happening anyway.
