Yet if a driver of automobile obeys all the laws and hits this person, they get sued. This flagrant attitude is the primary cause of tension between bicyclists and motorists.
You can't behave like that and then get angry when drivers are rude. This seems like pretty base level common sense.
- branchless 11y agoIt's just a stupid article that appears to be custom made to inflame debate and further enrage car drivers about "typical" cyclists.
- philwelch 11y agoCyclists often die in car/bicycle collisions and drivers are almost never held legally accountable regardless of whether the cyclist was obeying the law.

- RHSeeger 11y agoDoes it really matter if the car driver won the court case if they had to spend $10,000+ on a lawyer to do so?
