I for one am glad that we got the opportunity to show, state by state, that we supported supported same sex marriage. An earlier SCOTUS decision would have taken away our ability to show consensus on the issue. I'm glad that I was able to personally vote "No" to an amendment in MN that would have banned marriage rights.
