In a word, specialization. Worrying about self driving cars is probably enough of a challenge, but that's my best guess.
- segmondy 11y agoI don't think so. It will boil down to fleet management. Tesla is bypassing the middle man to sell cars directly. If we combine self driving cars and Uber, then most of us will not be buying cars and instead will be renting by usage. So why shouldn't Tesla bypass the middle man again and reap the profits?
