123 points in 2 hours and this is already on page 2 because the number of comments exceeds the number of upvotes? I would have missed this discussion if I hadn't checked HN in the last 2 hours. Is it time for HN to review whether the upvotes-vs-comments penalization-heuristic still makes sense? It's feeling a little ad hoc and brittle to me.
