you mean 'your request'.
- kyro 19y agoYou should learn how to properly capitalize your words, and that quotation marks come after periods.
- eru 19y agoOh, I am closet spelling and grammar nazi myself. I just wish I could edit posts for longer - since English is not my first language I can seldom spare the concentration needed for flawless writing.
- randallsquared 19y agoThe quote-after-period thing is a rule I deliberately break. I dun like it. It's just not me.
- dcurtis 19y agoYeah, I run red lights because I dun like them. They're just not me.
- randallsquared 19y agoYeah, I hate it when I reorder my quotes and periods and people get killed. No, wait... I don't think that's really a good analogy.
- dcurtis 19y agoMaybe I slightly exaggerated.
- pg 19y agoActually in England the rule is the other way around. It is arguably more consistent.
- corentin 19y agoI've noticed that, over time, programmers (including myself) tend to break some punctuation rules. I guess it's because we don't write: char *foo = "bar;"
- daniel-cussen 19y agoThe convention in question is actually a technique American typesetters used to keep track of the punctuation. It doesn't exist because it makes sense, but because of a trick of the trade.
- mwerty 19y agoServes me right.
