Would you advocate a similar system for equity between founder/CEO/execs and employees? I find that people in tech are outraged by Big Corp CEO pay, but don't bat an eye when the founder of a successful startup walks away with $40M while the employees still live in rented condos and each get a fraction of a house down payment.

What do you mean by 'people in tech'? I don't think any of the engineers like it, VC probably do, but that's a very small subset.

  Engineers accept it, every time someone accepts tiny equity at a small startup. I just don't see the outrage in our own industry.
