NIF is always strangely silent, because they don't exist to drive progress towards fusion based electrical power generation, they exist to validate and test miniaturized nuclear weapon designs.
- oldpond 11y agoI don't know about that, but I was watching their ignition tests succeed one after another, and then they stopped. If they did succeed they would want to run it for awhile before announcing it. <tinfoil hat off>
