The safety of airliners comes at a cost -- operating expenses (a lot of which is for maintenance) running so high that they're uneconomical except for bulk/public transport or the hyper-rich. Private flying cars they aren't. Small delivery drones, almost by definition, are your "flying car" paradigm, downsized to just the cargo compartment because they don't need to carry 70-300kg of shaved apes. Maintenance and QA is going to be a big issue, and will drive up prices.
