People block ads not because they do not like them, but because ads are just lazy. I am being currently "re-advertised to" by Converse. They and a few ecommerce keep showing the products I browsed, and I find that to be not annoying at all. In fact there is a small chance I would drop them a quarter to keep reminding me for some time.
