I get people disagree with the maintainer's views, but why does everything have to get so forcefully hostile and mobbish when it comes to these topics. Hate for hate does not educate.
It seems like the only people advocating removing a contributor for personal views or identities are the ones against this maintainer.
- rrss1122 11y agoBecause it has worked to achieve the mob's objectives when it comes to these topics.
- hackinthebochs 11y agoIt's control. Create an environment where you are unable to have a certain opinion without your job or livelihood being threatened, and it effectively render those views too dangerous to utter. It should be obvious the existential danger to free speech and the free exchange of ideas such a state of affairs entails.
