That was a great analysis, although I do have a small difference of opinion with you on point #7.
Uber's key innovation and disruptive influence is in the customer experience, and I look forward to them finding a way for them to focus on that without exploting technicalities in worker characterization.
- beatpanda 11y agoKey for you, maybe. Key for their ability to make money is their "innovation" in avoiding regulation and reducing labor costs.
- mfringel 11y agoAgreed. However, their (in)ability to do one without the other is not my problem. Uber started a revolution; but there is no requirement that they survive it.
