What painful generic command-line setup tasks would you like to see automated?

I am looking for use cases for setups that are tricky/long-winded but re-usable. There may be interactive steps during, config files to update. Anything that a user (admin or otherwise) might spend time doing by hand because it involves decisions and would like to see automated to save time.
