This article should be titled "The Challenges of Gender-Neutral Language on the Internet". There's nothing in it about concealing any other kind of identity information.
- guscost 11y agoIt would be interesting to expand this discussion to political dissidents and other cases where anonymity can be important. As presented this is just applying to modern culture the first part of the Turing Test thought experiment, which I'm surprised is not mentioned.
- microcolonel 11y agoI feel like I've been scammed out of a few minutes of my evening to hear somebody repeat unconfirmed allegations which appear to be largely false. I'm a bit insulted that somebody thought this would fly here. To others here, don't be surprised that nothing of substance was mentioned, this is more agenda than journal; and the topic is not what it says on the tin.
