- buckbova 11y agoI use white lily self rising flour, buttermilk, and butter flavored crisco in my biscuits and they are phenomenal. I add a little cornstarch for extra crispiness. I use peanut oil for fried chicken. Not sure if it's healthy or not, I just know it's good for frying.
