There are over 40 million black people in the United States. There are 2 million people in jail in the United states. Even if every single person in jail was a black male, there's still no way to get to '25% of black males are in prison'.
There are plenty of erroneous "facts" flying around on the internet but at least apply some cursory scrutiny to them.
- Downvotaggedon 11y agoOut of that 40M, 19M are male. I'm also accounting for jail, prison, house arrest, parole, and other manifestations of the penal institution. Add that up, and you are at 25% easily. The number is actually 29%. Why no comment on the OUTRAGEOUS statistic of ZERO black women being raped by white males? That's the real star of the show and a statistical impossibility, yet it's reality.
