This advances the art, but it is not clear that economies of large scale production can be easily overcome and thus it is likely that the future will be a mix of mass produced components assembled by various automated processes.
- toomuchtodo 11y agoI noticed both on their website, their article, and their video that they're using two industrial robots for the task. Why could this not be scaled up with additional robots working in cooperation for larger jobs? You're limited only to how quickly the material cures so you can begin using it to further advance, and the complexity of adding additional workers in the space constrained 3 dimensional workspace.
