Similarly (without reading too much about it) can I use InfluxDb instead of RethinkDb? (Disclaimer: I'm a RethinkDB fanboy, but I'd like to know my options.)
- vidarh 11y agoInfluxDB is a time series database (think reporting/analysis of collected system metrics). It's not intended as a general purpose database.
- sirstompsalot 11y agoNo, its definitely not. However, I can think of a few instances where I might use it along with Deepstream.
- rubiquity 11y agoWhy would you compare InfluxDB and RethinkDB? Those are two databases for very, very different problems. CouchDB and MongoDB are more comparable to RethinkDB if that helps you get a start!
