Are you referring to the $20 English certification? There isn't anything else that they currently ask their users to pay for.
- fidz 11y agoCMIIW Duolingo has a paid crowd-sourced translation service. Of course, user who "only want to learn" can "always learn for free"
- jfoster 11y agoPer the article, the translation service has been mostly ended. CNN are still using it, but they're not taking on new customers for that side of the business.
