Yeah, I need some kind up objective function to optimize for before I can answer this poll. What should StrangeLoop do... * to make the most money? * to support the dissemination of information? * to avoid scandal? * to maximize fun for attendees? * to maximize fun for themselves? * to affect the spread of racism? * to get into heaven? * to earn my approval? * to do what I would do? There is no "should" without imposing some moral framework or other kind of objective function.

So true, but moralism is also out of fashion.

I think that this is really the only valid response to this question. It doesn't make sense to talk about what someone "should" do without first saying what "should" means. Even the original post put the word "should" in quotes, and still didn't qualify it.
