What product(s) does your company use that you hate working with?

- MichaelCrawford 11y agoXcode. I'm working towards building my iOS App with a Makefile. I've always disliked Xcode but it gets worse and worse with each release. There is also the problem that when I search Google for how do something with "Xcode 6", despite the quote Google ignores the "6", matches for example "Xcode 4" where I find instructions that don't work anymore. From time to time I take a stab at Android development only to encounter Eclipse. I am similarly going to use Makefiles instead. I'm actually a big fan of IDEs - LightspeedC, ThinkC, SymantecC and CodeWarrior were all the greatest.

I think you should rather search for instructions on how to generate antfile (it should be somewhere around generating whole project from command line and should be found in Google's official documentation). Antfile used to allow to build an APK and to run it under emulator, what allowed me to write in Vim without running Eclipse whatsoever.
