This very mail also says PPS: Sourceforge now claims they will stop trojaning software without the developer's permission, but they've broken that exact promise before. He does know about the announcement, but he does not trust them anymore. That's fully understandable. Fool me twice, etc. Additionally, you addressed people posting in this thread. The Sourceforge announcement was all over HN and reddit and a lot of people following the whole issue knew about it. It's simply not enough to win back user's trust. But I already addressed that - Yet you chose to critize my way of wording, not the very content.
