If one solid ball can be partitioned into two solid balls of equal radius, then can't each of THOSE be partitioned into four solid balls of equal radius, and so on ad infinitum?
- reagency 11y agoYes. Except that the ball can't really "be paritioned". That's a mathematical illusion. There is an isomorphism of structures, but there is no computable algorithm that can perform the partition operation.
