I think what tech companies do with information collected is absolutely no different from identity theft. They help themselves to quite a lot more than what any of their terms of service statements regard, and seem to be using said datum for increasingly nefarious aims. In that respect, terms like "stolen", "lie", "heist", etc, are wholly apropos.
