10 years experience with big data and cloud? That doesn't really say much about the quality of a coder. These arbitrary metrics are pretty pointless IMHO. You can learn what you need to generally in around 1-3 years. Someone with 10 years experience could easily have been doing a job that gave them about 1 year's worth of experience but for 10 years, rather than having 10 years of varied experience.
