Maybe another way of looking at the problem: I think a bigger challenge would be supporting mobile devices. Whatever your site does, you might need to also do it in a stripped down no-frills way that will render well on a tiny screen. If you can manage that, IE6 support should be no problem. Worst case, push IE6 users to your mobile site. :)
