Dave Morin is a public figure; I think the linked article is closer to appropriate satire than personal attack. Clarifying question: It wouldn't be appropriate to call a mocking of an individual socially marginal person a satire; but is it correct to label a satire a personal attack?

  So whose satire you allow? PG's? Obama's? Bill Gates'? Where does that line start where you start allowing satire about people who are "public" enough?

    I wouldn't call this satire in the first place. Part of what makes satire noble is that it isn't merely personal.
