Yeah, the Ruby community is very blog-centric, and I have thought of that before, so you are most probably right. I too would like to see a study, but I would have no idea how to conduct it! Maybe the Ruby community is just reaching out everywhere trying to find a better language (just a jab from a python dev ;P )
